Jin Feng Braised Pork Rice

Jin Feng is a popular local establishment for braised pork rice. It’s affordable price point and quick service are notable as are the different size options. There’s a QR code menu system with English translation so it’s very easy to place your order and then pay after eating (in cash). We arrived to a short queue and our large party had to split up on the second floor. I liked the braised ground pork though it’s very greasy and mainly bits of fat mixed with ground pork. You do have the option of ordering pork belly. The cornstarch pork thick soup is good although it’s best to season with the tabletop pepper. Finally, it’s nice to have some veggies. The service can be a bit brisk but this is definitely a local and super affordable spot. Many said it's the best braised pork rice in taipei, also budget price, good value for money. Highly recommended

I came here to try the famous braised pork with rice. It usually gets very busy but we got lucky and served very quickly. It tasted really traditional, juicy with good quality rice.

We came to Jin Feng, intrigued by the amount of reviews on Google Map. And we wanted to clarify the confusing mixed ratings. The restaurant was located on the corner. We could access it from the main street. We sit on the 1st floor. Ordered through using QR Code with our phone. We ordered: - Braised ground pork with rice Super soft melt in your mouth pork. The brown soup from the stew was super tasty. - Slow braised pork with rice - Pork thick soup The soup was thicker and there was a little tanginess from vinegar i guess. Refreshing but filling because of its consistency. - Deep fried tofu - Braised duck egg The food they served were seems like a home cooked meal that warm your body and comforting. The type of meal that Chinese moms cook for their family. Me & my family really enjoyed them. It's too harsh for a 3.8 star! I would definitely come back here on our next visit to Taiwan!

Best Lou Rou Fan I’ve tasted in Taiwan. But the main highlight for me is the braised pork belly. It’s very soft & flavorful. Suprisingly it’s cheap (less than 50NTD per dish) but super good!
